Georgina Haig is Elsa and the first look of the actress on the set of Once Upon A Time has surfaced! According to Mail Online, Haig was filming for Season 4 of the hit ABC show, dressed in a blue gown as Elsa, Queen of Arrendelle. The 28-year-old actress wore her long blonde hair in a classic “Elsa” braid, and really took on the character as she filmed scenes in “Storybrooke” with her new co-stars. Haig filmed scenes with Jennifer Morrison (Emma) and Colin O’Donoghue (Captain Hook) as well as several others.
At this point in time, Once Upon A Time fans don’t know how the Frozen storyline is going to fit into the plot, but creators of the show want to “honor” Frozen without recreating the actual movie on the small screen.
Georgina Haig as Elsa gave fans the first look at the costuming, which is, as expected, pretty spot on in regard to what you’d picture a real-life version of Elsa’s blue gown to look like — perhaps with a little less sparkle. Interestingly enough, producers of the show are already thinking about a Frozen spinoff — and it could be b-i-g. Although the show’s Wonderland spinoff failed to impress fans, it’s hard to imagine a Frozen spinoff having the same outcome.

According to E! Online, OUAT people are really focused on Season 4. While the thought of a spinoff seems to be twinkling, everyone is hoping that Frozen is brought into OUAT appropriately and that it succeeds in making fans happy. As far as concerns that Elsa and Anna (played by actress Elizabeth Lail) are being brought on too soon, ABC president Paul Lee disagrees.
“Absolutely not. Frozen is a wonderful asset. John Lassiter (executive producer of the Frozen film), himself flew up to Vancouver, he’s integrally related to the way we’re doing that. Adam and Eddie always have a twist on every story, so you can imagine their twist is going to be very different. But no, I think it’s the perfect time. We’re thrilled with it.”
