Kat Von D’s ‘LA Ink’ Cancelled By TLC, Last Episode Airing In September

First her relationship with Jesse James falls apart (who didn’t see that coming) and now TLC has also chosen to depart from Kat Von D, announcing that the current season of LA Ink would be it’s last.

TLC confirmed the cancellation on Thursday, telling Access Hollywood:

“TLC has decided that the current season of ‘LA INK’ will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,”

Kat says things didn’t go down the way TLC says, claiming she quit the show:

“I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being ‘cancelled.”

Kat went on to add:

“Thanks @TLC,” and “Regardless of everything I remain grateful.”

Kat continued running her mouth later in the day, noting:

“Please standby for a more in depth, more honest statement regarding LA Ink,” and “It also means I can speak more freely now too.”

Then again can we really believe anything Kat says these days, after KTTV FOX 11 in Los Angeles aired a clip from her show that featured former-fiance Jesse James she walked off the set of Good Day LA and has thrown various other fits over the last four seasons of her show.

So there you have it, you’ll no longer be able to watch a show that spends most of it’s time sharing not-so-intelligent banter among the tattoo parlors staff, the best part of LA Ink is the fact that it’s going away, after all who really wants to watch someone who’s idea of a good relationship was dating Jesse James.

Can I just point out that the networks statement just said this season would be it’s last, Kat Von D turned it into the network claiming they had “cancelled” the show.
