Apparently Dogs Love Traveling On Car Rooftops. Here Is Proof! [Videos]

So, a video showing a dog casually walking on the roof of a pickup truck is going viral. First spotted by Sploid, the video shows a dog walking comfortably – initially on the bonnet of the truck and then walking over on to the roof. All the while, the vehicle was doing a good 60-70 miles an hour, we presume. While it is unclear where the video is from, the uploader’s language is Russian.

So, it would be prudent to assume that the dog has Russian origins as well.

The video was uploaded to YouTube on July 5th and has since then notched up over 30,000 views. And for good reason, it’s not often that you come across a dog that has no problems travelling on the roof of a moving vehicle…. Or so we thought.

Just when we thought this was a great achievement by this Russian dog, we were pointed to a few other videos which also show other dogs traveling on the roof tops of cars. Most of these videos do not have a great view count. Maybe this is not that great an achievement after all?
