Channing Split Rumors: Are Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan-Tatum Headed For Divorce?
There are Channing split rumors making the rounds on social media and in some tabloids, but are Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum really headed for a divorce? Fans don’t want to believe that this could possibly be true, and it seems they don’t have to go there. Reps for the two, and Jenna herself, are speaking up to try to nip this rumor in the bud.
According to Gossip Cop, there is no truth to the Channing split rumors. It looks like this time around the buzz started as a result of a Star cover that says there is a “$50 million divorce shocker” on the way for the two stars. Their reps, however, indicate otherwise. They say, “It’s disappointing to see another example of Star magazine using outright lies to sell their weekly covers and trying to pass it off as journalism.” The reps add that the split rumors “couldn’t be further from the truth.” While it’s not as if the reps would confirm such a story splashed on a tabloid cover, it does seem as if this one is a bunch of bunk.
Though fans, and surely Channing and Tatum, are annoyed by the fabricated story, Dewan-Tatum tried to mix in a wee bit of humor as she attempted to set things straight. Jenna’s WhoSay post teases that claiming the couple got caught together getting intimate with Sasquatch in a 7-Eleven bathroom “would be a more accurate headline” than what Star went with on their actual cover.
In addition, Dewan-Tatum says that magazines simply “concoct outright lies about real people in order to sell it to you as ‘journalism.'” She adds that she hopes everybody can “think hard about what this means and start to demand better.” Jenna wraps the post by signing it, “Love y’all. CT and JDT.” Granted the hot couple’s fans are unlikely to believe much of anything that particular outlet reports on them, but oftentimes these stories spread like wildfire anyway.
Hopefully everything is indeed happy and lovely in the land of Channing, Jenna and their 1-year-old baby girl Everly. Supposedly the couple’s issues revolve around his partying and drinking, a topic he actually addressed not long ago. Tatum admitted that he probably drinks too much, but he also indicated that things have settled down a bit since Everly’s arrival. While it can be tough to keep a marriage together in Hollywood, at this point it does seem that the Channing split rumors are nothing to worry about.
