A new documentary titled Cristiano Ronaldo: The World At His Feet, narrated by British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, has been released. The film follows the Portuguese superstar from his humble beginnings to his successful career at Real Madrid.
Ronaldo — who is the current Ballon d’Or winner — is playing in the 2014 World Cup for his country, but has encountered some problems with a couple of nagging injuries. The 29-year-old is one of the most successful footballers of his generation, and many think he is the best of all time. That’s up for debate if you ask Lionel Messi fans.
Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is one of Hollywood’s most popular leading men and has starred in films such as Oscar winner 12 Years A Slave, Star Trek Into Darkness, and The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, among many others. The actor is also active in narration for several audio books and National Geographic documentaries.
The Cristiano Ronaldo documentary is directed by Tara Pirnia (One Direction: The Only Ways Is Up, Justin Bieber: This Is My World), and includes interviews with the biggest names in football including David Beckham, Pele, Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Lionel Messi, Wayne Rooney, Gary Lineker, Sir Bobby Charlton, and Crstiano Ronaldo.

The documentary introduces the viewers to the real Cristiano Ronaldo, the man beyond the perfect hair and sculpted body, who fascinates both men and women. Behind the good looks and flashy cars is a man completely dedicated to the game he loves, and is the owner of some incredible natural talent.
