Anthony Weiner In Trouble Over Tweet About Tindr And Sexting
Former New York congressman Anthony Weiner is in the headlines once again, this time for favoriting a tweet about popular hook-up app Tindr.
The tweet, which linked to an article titled “Tindr’s new feature makes it the ultimate sext machine” had only six other favorites, according to the BuzzFeed reporters that took screenshots of Weiner’s favorite.

As MailOnline reports, Weiner deleted his Twitter history moments later, leaving only one favorited tweet behind.
After the Buzzfeed story broke however, Weiner took to Twitter once more to defend himself in a series of joking tweets:

Commenting to Buzzfeed, Weiner also tried to explain his actions as accidental:
“there were a bunch of favorites there that I didn’t either didn’t recognize or mean to favorite. I’m not clear on how they got marked in the first place but I assume hit the little star thing accidentally as I scrolled through stuff.”
Along with Weiner’s favorite of the Tindr tweet, The Village Voice reports that he also favorited six photos of a buxom California woman who goes by the handle ParisRoxanne0 on Twitter.
