Keeping Up With The Kardashians Is Back, But Where’s Rob?

Keeping Up with the Kardashians is back tonight for the premiere of its ninth season. Drama is not new for the E! network’s first family — but with an over-the-top wedding, a high profile split and at least one super family vacation — this round of Kardashian storylines might be one for the history books.

The season 9 “superteaser,” published by the Mirror, implies a spat between the already-separated Kim and Bruce Jenner, wedding prep for Kim, a family vacation to Thailand, and Kendall Jenner’s trip to London — without her famous clan.

The show’s official E! webpage has an extended clip of Khloé Kardashian’s tense moments while packing up the house she shared with husband Lamar Odom. In the clip, Khloé snaps to gal pal Malika and sister Kourtney, “I don’t even want to move. And guess who made me move? All you people.”

As is now well-reported, Khloé did eventually move, and her and Odom’s home was sold to Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco and her husband Ryan Sweeting. Cuoco gave the home a ‘spiritual cleanse’ before getting too comfortable, as previously reported by The Inquisitr.

Cameras were apparently there to film Odom’s appearance at a club where Khloé was hanging out with reported new beau French Montana, causing some unsettling moments that the teasers imply became part of the series.

The premiere is being broadcast on Kanye West’s 37th birthday, mere weeks after he and Kim wed in Europe. This summer’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians series will undoubtedly have lots to show about glamorous Kim – now going by the moniker Kim Kardashian West – not the least of which will be the run up to her well-publicized nuptials. The E! teasers show Kim at an infamous formal event, the Vienna Opera Ball, where she was confronted with racist remarks.

Remarkably absent from the new Keeping Up with the Kardashians clips is brother Rob, who is not included in the official season 9 photos published by Zap2It. While it’s not unsurprising for the show to focus on Kris Jenner’s five daughters more than her son, Rob apparently chose not to have a recurring storyline this season.

Radar Online was more blunt, reporting that Rob Kardashian has “had enough,” and believes that the reality show-turned celebrity empire has “truly ruined his family.” Rob made news at the time of Kim’s wedding, by coming home before Kimye said their “I do’s.” At the same time, he also changed his Twitter avatar and deleted his previous tweets.

As Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuts tonight, Khloé and Kourtney continue to film their new spin-off, Khloé and Kourtney Take the Hamptons.
