Microsoft and Halo‘s new caretakers, 343 Industries, put out an all new look at Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, a remake of the Xbox classic that started it all a little under ten years ago.
In the latest video, we get to take a look at the remake of Silent Cartographer, which the studio showed off to lucky press in attendance at E3 last month. 343 Industries’ Dan Ayoub walks us through the demo and shows off the game’s new and improved look.
An interesting feature shown in the video is the ability to switch between the new and the ten year-old graphics that will be instantly recognizable to Halo veterans.
The studios’ goal, Ayoub explains, was to make the gameplay an exact match for the original, allowing new and old players alike to experience all the glory of Halo: Combat Evolved.
Perhaps one of the most interesting features Ayoub discusses in the video is online co-op which, as you may recall, was sadly absent from the original.
