Lana Del Rey Performs 3 Songs At Kim And Kanye’s Wedding

Lana Del Rey made good on her promise to perform during Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding this weekend.

The acclaimed singer reportedly received a tidy six-figure paycheck to belt out a few tunes during what many are calling the wedding of the year. Although the singer never properly confirmed her involvement with the ceremony, recent reports suggest Lana Del Rey was front and center when Kim and Kanye decided to officially tie the knot.

According to the folks at Hollywood Life, the songstress performed no less than three tunes during her stint at Kim’s wedding. Among the songs she tackled during the ceremony were “Summertime Sadness” and “Young and Beautiful.” The website claims that folks were so moved by her performance that many burst into tears.

A report by E! Online suggests that Kim Kardashian didn’t spend too much time reading headlines about her wedding in recent days. The outlet reports that the bride was completely surprised by the singer’s appearance at the big event. Apparently she was the last person on the planet to hear about the news.

“Kim and Kanye love her and were so happy she could sing for them,” a source told the publication.

At least the singer said yes this time around. Although she flatly denies the rumors, a few of those anonymous sources out there previously suggested that Lana Del Rey rejected Kanye West’s request to perform at his epic proposal late last year.

Here’s what one of those insiders said about the whole thing:

“Lana politely declined, and didn’t give any reason for not being able to perform. It was a very firm no from Lana and her camp. Kanye did try to push it, but didn’t get anywhere. Kanye decided to hire an orchestra to perform the song for Kim, and he was much happier with how it turned out.”

While Lana Del Rey managed to show up for Kim and Kanye’s big day, there were a few notable absences. Not only did Rob Kardashian decide to catch a flight back to the states, Jay Z and Beyonce opted to hang out in the Hamptons this weekend.
