Jonah Hill Made A Naked Bet Concerning Channing Tatum, Find Out What It Was

When Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum go drinking, there’s no telling what bets will be made. Tatum, who stars with Jonah Hill in the upcoming sequel 22 Jump Street, revealed that the two are so comfortable with each other that weird bets result when the pair goes out drinking.

The tidbit about Jonah Hill’s bet comes from a recent GQ interview that his co-star Channing did to promote the sequel to their runaway summer hit 21 Jump Street.

According to Channing, Hill lost a pretty important bet to Tatum, and is legally obligated to kiss Channing’s penis with a thin layer of fabric, in this case underwear, separating Jonah’s lips and Tatum’s junk.

The naked bet was made right before 21 Jump Street’s initial opening. The bet was if it opened to higher than $35 million, Jonah Hill would have to kiss the tip of Tatum’s penis. Of course, Channing won the bet as the film opened with $36 million.

At the time Hill exclaimed, “I will kiss your tip! I will kiss the tip of your d–k through your underwear if we make $35 million.”

Jump Street’s co-director Phil Lord said that there were many people in earshot of the naked bet when it all went down.

“There were many witnesses to this conversation and verbal contracts are binding in a court of law.”

Tatum proposes that it still might happen as the pair may have another box office success to drink to when 22 Jump Street hits theaters:

“Maybe, on a drunk night when we’re all being crazy and hopefully, knock on wood, Jump Street 2 works out and people love it, maybe out of the elation of that event in our lives I might call in the bet. Or I might make him double or nothing.”

In addition to Jonah Hill’s naked bet, Tatum admits that drinking is kind of his forte.

“I’m probably a pretty high-functioning, I guess, you know, I would say, alcoholic, I guess. There’s probably a tendency to escape. I equate it to creativity, and I definitely equate it to having a good time.”

In 22 Jump Street, Jonah reprises his role as Schmidt and Channing returns as Jenko as the two go undercover at a college to sniff out an elusive campus drug dealer after their department gets relocated across the street to 22 Jump Street.

Hopefully this isn’t the last time we hear about the naked bet between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
