Lindsay Lohan reportedly has a major problem with Jennifer Lawrence, and it may have everything to do with the guy she’s dating.
The troubled Mean Girls star caught everyone’s attention last month when she declared that Lawrence sleeps around to get her roles. Although it’s highly doubtful that anyone with a single functioning brain cell believed Lohan’s claims, Lindsay and her conspiracy theory generated a fair amount of headlines.
Why is the Hunger Games star receiving a fair amount of hatred from Lindsay Lohan these days? Did Jennifer steal a role the actress was pursuing? According to the folks at Radar Online , Lohan’s problem with Lawrence may have everything to do with the young actress’ relationship with X-Men: Days of Future Past star Nicholas Hoult.
An anonymous source told Star magazine that Lindsay Lohan really wanted to hook up with the actor a few years ago. Despite her best efforts, Hoult ultimately shot her down. Apparently she’s still a little irritated about getting blown off.
“She tried to hook up with him back in 2010, but he wouldn’t give her the time of day. She called him nonstop. Finally, he told her to buzz off. Now she’s bitter and taking out her anger on Jen,” the insider told the publication.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Lindsay Lohan spewed some hate in Lawrence’s general direction during an interview with Kode magazine. During her chat with the outlet, Lohan allegedly said that the American Hustle alum sleeps around to get roles. However, Lindsay’s camp quickly shot down these reports.
“Lindsay never spoke to any journalist at Kode. The interview was completed via email. We have no comprehension on why a journalist would fabricate this content and distribute it in such an irresponsible way,” a representative for the actress told E! Online .
Lindsay Lohan’s problems with Jennifer Lawrence could run deeper than Nicholas Hoult. Since Lawrence is scooping up one hit movie after another, there’s a good chance the little green monster has a hold of Lindsay in the worst way. After all, the Canyons star is apparently pretty bitter about missing out on a big franchise like The Avengers .
“If I don’t work in a film, [my manager] passes it to Vanessa Hudgens; he passes it one of his other clients. Every day I’m not on a film set, I’m wasting my talent because that’s what I was born, and live, to do,” Lindsay said in an episode of her OWN series.
