Tori Spelling: Did Marriage Breakdown Lead To A Week In Hospital?
Tori Spelling was recently hospitalized for about a week amid rumors of a marital breakdown between her and husband Dean McDermott. The reasons for her being admitted to hospital are still not clear, but it is suspected by many to be related to her current marital issues.
Spelling was spotted at around 3 p.m. on Saturday making her way to a waiting SUV with her pink hospital band still on her wrist. According to E! News McDermott was with Tori Spelling every step of the way, even staying with her in the hospital for up to 10 hours a day.
A source told the publication: “He would arrive by 10am and didn’t leave until 8 most nights. He seemed very stressed out and worried. He would bring food and often only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or make a phone call.”
Sometime last week Spelling revealed to the public that her and her husband were having some marital issues, writing in her personal blog:
I wanted to take a moment to address what’s been going on in my life over the last several months. Our family has been going through an incredibly difficult and trying time, and the story of what I’ve been going through has been told by everyone except for me. So, it’s time for me to set the record straight. Throughout my life, the tabloids have told every story you could imagine – and they always got it wrong. I needed the chance to tell my own story. At the moment, I don’t know if it will have a happy ending. But I need to get my voice back, and this is my way of doing that.
Even though, when Spelling and McDermott first met they were married to other people, Spelling never thought that he would ever cheat on her. When she learned of McDermott’s two-day sexathon with Emily Goodhand, during a trip to Toronto, she was shocked:
“He cheated on me. One of my worst fears came true,. On some level I never thought it would really happen,” she said, adding that the reason she didn’t leave him then was because of the kids: “There are children involved. For their sakes, I need to try to figure this out,” she added.
Tori Spelling continued to open up about her feelings for her husband, despite the fact he cheated on her: “You don’t stop loving someone because they do something really bad to you. He was my soul mate, but he completely broke my heart. It makes you not trust anything that’s happened in your relationship. But until I figure it out, I don’t want my kids to know any different,” she said.
There is no word yet from Tori Spelling‘s rep as to the the reasons why she was in hospital for a week. This naturally fuels the rumors that they may have been related to her marital situation.
