Kevin Hart And Eniko Parrish Engagement Rumors ‘So Painful’ Says Ex-Wife

Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish engagement rumors are being scrutinized by Torrei Hart, his ex-wife of five years. The Atlanta Exes star recently unleashed her perspective in an intimate interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine. Apparently Kevin’s plans to wed Eniko Parrish are too soon, according to the ex Mrs. Hart.

Although Torrei and Kevin have been divorced for nearly five years, Torrei thinks that Kevin did not allow himself enough time to “heal” before moving on.

“When we first split up, I took a lot of time to just heal. I feel like he hasn’t even really healed, because he went from one relationship right into another relationship.” Torrei told Sister 2 Sister magazine about her ex-husband’s sudden relationship with Eniko Parrish. In fact, some reports state that Kevin and Eniko began their relationship before the divorce between Kevin and Torrei was even finalized.

Torrei was also outspoken about Kevin’s recent statement in which he described Eniko as his “rib.” In the same interview mentioned earlier, she was quoted as saying:

“It’s easy to be somebody’s rib when you’re a millionaire. That’s just me being as honest as I can.

“Me, for instance; you’re working at City Sports and I’m taking you to your shows, you’re driving my car, you’re crashing my car several times, and I’m still there for you, supporting you, went out and got a job for the phone company and still making sure I got your back so you can pursue your dreams. That’s what ribs do!”

While some critics see Torrei’s comments as jealousy, others appear to support her and empathize with her. Still, others see her verbal lashing-out as nothing more than a publicity stunt to help promote her new role on the VH1 show Atlanta Exes. Regardless of the intent behind Torrei’s commentary on Kevin’s recent engagement, it is apparent that he has moved on.

Torrei seemingly addresses this specifically in her interview, as well. “We go through our periods, but I would say that we’re getting closer,” she said. “We’re working through stuff.”

The reality show Atlanta Exes is a spin-off of Hollywood Exes and is slated to premiere in the summer of 2014. Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish reportedly talked marriage earlier in the year, with rumors swirling that he’s already decided to ‘put a ring on it.’
