Fandango Acquires Disney’s

Comcast-owned entertainment service Fandango has bought from Disney. The acquisition gives the sites a combined estimated 9 million monthly visitors, according to Nielsen NetRatings.

Fandango offers ticket purchases from 15,000 theaters across the U.S., while focuses more on content: reviews, DVD release information, etc. Fandango has already expanded its ticket sale service to as of today.

Disney says no layoffs will result from the sale. The exact terms of the deal, however, are not being released.
