Miley Cyrus Rushed To The Hospital For An Allergic Reaction

Updated: 4/16 @ 11:40 a.m. —Miley Cyrus has been hospitalized. According to breaking reports the “Wrecking Ball” singer suffered “a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics” and because of that she’s been hospitalized.

Due to Cyrus’ sudden hospitalization, her Tuesday night Bangerz tour concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City has been canceled.

The arena released a statement after Miley Cyrus was hospitalized:

“Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled.”

Although the singer is in the hospital, that doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to tweet. Miley took to Twitter to apologize to her fans and let them know that she really wanted to go on stage to perform a great show.

“Kansas I promise Im as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel shittier than I already do.”

Following that the singer posed with an Octopus in her hospital gown and shared with her Twitter followers:

“Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me.”

It looks like Miley has dealt with a bit of hate due to her cancelled show. Because of this she posted a cryptic message on her Twitter:

“People are evil, it’s true.”

Originally it was believed that Miley Cyrus would probably be released and she would be able to make her show in St. Louis. However, it seems as though the hospital is keeping Miley for observation and she won’t be able to make the concert. This makes the third show that’s been cancelled on Cyrus’ Bangerz tour.

Cyrus once again took to Twitter to express her sorrow over missing yet another show due to her severe allergic reaction.

“Humans can be so selfish. If anyone thinks I’d rather be layin in a hospital bed than doing what I love on stage they’re f***in LAME. I’m miserable.”

“I can’t get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there. The hospital is saying I won’t be released today,therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. I’m so sorry but somethings are outta my control.”

Of course there are rumors that Cyrus’ hospitalization isn’t due an allergic reaction and is related to something that’s not being addressed, but for now that hasn’t been confirmed. Earlier this month Cyrus had to cancel a date in North Carolina due to suffering from the flu, but many believe it was because she was grief stricken from the sudden death of her dog, Floyd.
