Rapper The Game Accused of Beating His Ex-Fiancée: Speaks Out About the Allegations

The Game is making headlines these days. However, they aren’t the type of headlines he’d like to be associated with. The rapper-reality TV star is allegedly being investigated for domestic assault.

According to TMZ, sources allege that the Jesus Piece rapper’s ex-fiancée Tiffney Cambridge filed a police report against him following a physical altercation that took place Wednesday, Mar. 19. The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, allegedly attacked Cambridge following a verbal sparring match. Cambridge reportedly suffered a broke nose and an injured eye socket.

The publication reports that sources close to Cambridge have confirmed that he did, indeed, hit her in the face, repeatedly. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department also has pictures of the reported injuries, which prompted the investigation. The Game now faces possible felony assault charges.

While the gruesome allegations are quite incriminating on paper, the “Hate It or Love It” rapper has refuted the claims. He openly admitted that the two had been involved in an argument, but he denies that the incident escalated into a physical altercation. The Game even took to Instagram to address the issue, sharing his perspective with fans.

“I don’t want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out. I’m always looking out for my children’s safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney. All I want is a chance to move on with my life & be allowed to be the father to my children I have been since their births. Judge me as you may, but do know.. my heart & my intentions are pure – The Game”

It is unclear why the two were arguing although the media immediately opted to associate the altercation with The Game’s close friendship with Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian. The two have been media targets for several months following Kardashian’s big public split from Lamar Odom. However, the friendship having anything to do with the altercation is only speculative.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not released any further details in regards to the investigation.
