Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are getting married? Why not?

It makes sense seeing as the reunited pair are already planning an international tour, that is right after Bieber’s rap career takes off. And now that Selena has successfully fought off an intervention by her disapproving family she can focus on having the twins. Of course, she’ll have to knock her “drinking and partying” back though. If they’re going to elope at least one of them needs to have a clear head…

Despite Life & Style’s latest stab in the dark claim that the couple are “going to get hitched,” it’s since been reported Bieber and Gomez have no plans to get married.

According to the tabloid, after Justin and Selena’s PDA-filled Texas weekend, a dance video and probably a few NSFW skypes, the twosome are apparently ready to tie the knot.

“They think they’re Romeo and Juliet,” a purported source said. “The harder people try to keep them apart, the more they want to be together.”

“Justin has always told her he’d love to marry her,” the so-called insider told the magazine.

“They both act on impulse. He’d marry her in a heartbeat, and I can totally see her running off with him.”

Meanwhile, in the rest of Life & Style’s fanfic universe, Gomez’s mom would “flip out” if her elder daughter and Justin got married and insist on “an annulment,” a supposed source said.

But, enough jokes. Apart from the singers’ reunion which is legit, the marriage rumor is totes false.

That said, things do appear to be heating up between Bieber and Gomez.

Although Selena has returned to California and Justin is back in Canada, on Monday the pop prince posted an Instagram selfie thought to be a message to the Latina.

It was captioned, “Love if when we’re ‘lovey dovey.'”

The pop stars also sent online temperatures soaring on Tuesday at around the same time, on their respective Instagram accounts.

Justin got his abs out to tease the idea of modeling in a Calvin Klein underwear campaign. In what capacity, no-one knows. And yes, he would have some fairly big – lets call it shoes – to fill.

The 20-year-old tweeted a question to fans asking for their opinion on him doing a campaign with the brand, along with a open shirted, bare-chested, black Calvin Kleins-wearing photo.

More photos from the same shoot followed, after a Twitter bug deleted Bieber’s Klein caption.

Not to be outdone, Selena uploaded a Burlesque-themed back-shot of herself wearing sheer tights, tight shorts with a peek of derrière, while teasing Bardot-styled hair in a backstage-themed dressing room mirror.

The sexy shot was captioned, “Secret project.”

Idolator speculates, as do we, that the actress-singer could be referring to a new movie, new music, new perfume, or possibly the duet she recorded with Bieber. After all the speculation, WeKnowTheDJ.com – a website owned by Tay James, who was the official Believe tour DJ and is a close friend of Justin – confirmed the song title as “Unfamiliar” on Wednesday.

As yet, no release date for the duet has been revealed.

Married-bound or not – and right now, reportedly, they’re not – Jelena keeps it interesting.
