Avril Lavigne Announces New Tour Date In Cleveland

Just the other day Avril Lavigne announced the additional stops for Mexico on her tour, and now it looks like Lavigne is heading to Cleveland. Lavinge, and a bevy of artists including Kenny Rogers, Kool & the Gang and Boston are heading to Cleveland to headline their own series of concerts.

Announced by Live Nation, the four shows will take place at Cleveland’s Hard Rock Live at the Rocksino in Northfield. The dates are as followed: Kool & the Gang are on Friday May 9, Kenny Rogers is set for Friday, May 23, and Avril Lavigne is all set for Wednesday, June 25.

As stated, prior to her Cleveland announcement, the Canadian pop singer announced via her Twitter that she was coming to Mexico before making a few US tour dates to share the stage with The Backstreet Boys. This tour is supporting her self-titled album that she put out in 2013. For the singer it was the first album she put out in two years, and her sixth studio album since Avril’s 2002 debut Let Go.

Avril Lavigne has been on tour for sometime now. Earlier in the month it was reported that Lavigne had a little bizarre moment while playing a concert in China. During the show Lavigne stopped in the middle of the song “I’m With You” and screamed before leaving the stage. It appears that Lavigne was frightened by something, but there hasn’t been any official word on the incident since it happened. Either way, we’re sure it’s a thing of the past for the singer.
