Watch UConn Vs. Saint Joseph’s Live Online, 2014 NCAA Tournament Basketball

2014 NCAA tournament fans who tune in to watch UConn vs. Saint Joseph’s live online will get an opportunity to see two dark horses in the tournament. Both teams have been largely overlooked this season, overshadowed by the other teams in their conferences. But UConn and Saint Joseph’s are out to prove they belong in the 2014 NCAA tournament.

As with the other games throughout the tournament, March Madness audiences can watch UConn and Saint Joseph’s live online Thursday night at 6:55 pm EST. The Huskies and the Hawks both get the advantage of staying in the East region and playing their opening game in Buffalo, New York. Travel can have a major affect on teams, but these two get to stay close to home.

UConn is back in the NCAA tournament after a one year absence. While Huskies fans are used to being in the Big Dance, 2014 is a little different. Jim Calhoun is no longer on the bench. One of his proteges, Kevin Ollie, sits in the head coach’s seat now and has developed a hard working team. Senior guard Shabazz Napier leads the team in points, rebounds, and assists. Napier is the tone setter and one of the best players in the nation. If he is feeling it on Thursday, there is not much Saint Joseph’s can do to stop UConn.

For those who do watch UConn vs. Saint Joseph’s live online, don’t expect it to be a cake walk for the UConn Huskies. Saint Joseph’s was firmly on the bubble and maybe on the way out, until they pulled off a run through the tough Atlantic 10 conference tournament. By beating March Madness favorite VCU, the Hawks secured the automatic bid from the Atlantic 10.

Though an intriguing third round game against Villanova potentially awaits them, Saint Joseph’s coach Phil Martelli does not want his team checking their brackets. Villanova and Saint Joseph’s are both in Philadelphia and the Wildcats pummeled the Hawks back in December. A rematch would be an opportunity for revenge, but as senior guard Langston Galloway said, “If we overlook UConn, we’ll be headed back home to Philly.”

This 2014 NCAA tournament game can really go either way and fans will be watching their brackets closely Thursday night. To watch UConn vs. Saint Joseph’s live online, click here.
