Ariana Grande Is Pretty Bummed That Chris Brown Is Behind Bars

Ariana Grande is understandably upset that Chris Brown is spending some time in jail for violating his probation.

The Sam & Cat star recently teamed up with the troubled singer to record a duet, the ironically-titled “Don’t Be Gone Too Long.” After the pair started counting down the tune’s release, Brown received word that he had to spend a month behind bars. Not surprisingly, this caused a bit of trouble behind-the-scenes.

According to MTV News, Ariana Grande discussed the situation on Twitter. Although she originally issued a post about the delay, Grande decided to remove the post shortly after it arrived.

“My loves. So obviously some things have changed recently. So we have to delay the ‘Don’t Be Gone Too Long’ countdown. Some things are out of our control,” the singer wrote.

So why did Ariana Grande decided to delete the tweets? According to the singer, her duet with Chris Brown isn’t getting delayed due to his unexpected trip to the slammer. Check out her posts on the subject below.

Ariana previously teased her collaboration with Brown on Twitter. After the pair caught everyone’s attention by tweeting some lyrics back and forth, Grande’s manager Scooter Braun confirmed that she and Chris were working on a tune. However, details about the duet were few and far between at the time.

Shortly after she started teasing the song’s release, Brown found himself facing incarceration for violating his parole. As a result of his behavior, he’ll have to spend 30 days behind bars.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the singer will stay in jail until his hearing on April 23. Judge James Brandlin said Chris was officially kicked out of rehab for touching a woman, failing to take a drug test, and making a comment about “gun and knives” during a group session. Although attorney Mark Geragos said the singer didn’t deserve jail time, the judge apparently felt otherwise.

What do you think about Ariana Grande and Chris Brown’s upcoming duet? Do you think “Don’t Be Gone Too Long” will ever see the light of day?
