Bobbi Kristina Brown received stark criticism after she posted a bikini photo on Twitter. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston is proud to display her weight loss. However, many are concerned that Bobbi is far too thin.

Although Brown always had a nice figure, she obviously lost a great deal of weight. Despite the criticism, the 21-year-old aspiring artist said she simply has a "fast metabolism." Bobbi pointed out that her mother also had a slim figure.

Her husband, Nick Gordan, also jumped to her defense. Gordon said his wife "is perfect the way she is... and for the record she was made that way." He also pointed out that "she is beautiful."

Gordon attributed Bobbi Kristina Brown's weight loss to "working out and eating right." He said his wife is comfortable with her new figure and is perfectly healthy.

This is not the first time the famous couple faced criticism and controversy. Although they were raised as in the same home, as brother and sister, they married in January. The unusual relationship certainly raised eyebrows. However, the couple is not related by blood.

Houston took Gordon into her home at the age of 12. Although she did not formally adopt him, she raised him as a son.

As reported by People, Bobbi said she and Gordon had the blessing of her grandmother Cissy Houston. She also said Whitney would have been proud as "this is exactly what she wanted."

Born to two famous and talented performers, Bobbi's net worth is estimated to be nearly $100 million. Following the divorce of her parents, she spent the majority of her time with her mother.

Throughout her teens, Bobbi struggled with psychological issues, alcohol, and drugs. Radar Online, Bobbi's ex-boyfriend blamed Houston for enabling her daughter's out-of-control lifestyle:

"It was difficult to stop her from buying alcohol and drugs because her mother gave her $1,000 a week. I saw Krissi do an eight ball – an eighth of an ounce – of cocaine in just two days with friends."

In the last 10 years, Bobbi has appeared in numerous reality programs and documentaries, including Being Bobby Brown. Following her mother's death, she also appeared in Lifetime's The Houston's: On Our Own, which chronicles the family's struggles following Houston's death.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has suffered tremendous tragedy and adversity. However, she seems to be happy with her current lifestyle. Although she has lost a tremendous amount of weight, she and her husband contend that she is healthy and happy.
