Aaron Carter apparently has a few regrets in his life. One of them was letting Hilary Duff slip between his fingers.
If you didn’t grow up in the late 90s/early 2000s, then you probably have no idea what we’re talking about right now. Carter and Duff were an item during their days at Disney, that is, until Aaron decided to cheat on the singer with Lindsay Lohan. Not surprisingly, this brought their three-year relationship to a crashing halt.
Young love often dies hard, or in Aaron Carter’s case, not at all. Although Duff has since moved on with her life, the guy who once beat Shaq recently felt the need to share some personal information with his fans and followers on Twitter. In short: Carter really wishes he hadn’t screwed everything up with Duff.
“Don’t be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever. Like me.” Aaron recently tweeted with zero prompting from anyone.
He later added, “I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don’t care what any of you think.”
Since celebrities who share personal information on the micro-blogging site often find themselves the center of ridicule from just about everyone on the planet, it didn’t take long for folks to start making fun of Aaron Carter. Understandably frustrated by the negative responses, the rapper decided to address the backlash with yet another tweet.
“That tweet just gave me an anxiety attack. People who have no idea who I am and/or what I’ve been through. If you’re that interested watch my interviews or Google me,” he wrote in response to all the 140-character hate.
