Amanda Bynes Tweets Self-Portrait On Cleaned-Up Twitter

Amanda Bynes is showing a brand new face, which happens to be her own. Last Monday, she posted what appears to be a self-portrait of herself on a recently cleaned-up Twitter account.

This may be the initial signs of positive change for the star of Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show and She’s The Man. Back in 2013, Bynes was spiraling down until she had her stint in rehab. According to Perez Hilton, Amanda is starting to feel embarrassment for a lot of her previous actions, especially on her Twitter feed after being checked out. She used to post plenty of questionable selfies along with some raunchy tweets. The one tweet Amanda regrets the most, is when she asked well-known rapper, Drake to “murder her vagina”.

During rehab, Bynes was diagnosed for bipolarity and schizophrenia. Prior to finding out, her mental condition was given extra firepower for chaos due to partying, drinking, and drugs, specifically marijuana. Now, those days of transgression seem to be over.

The first thing noticeable is her Twitter feed. Every single tweet with negative connotations, such as the one with Drake, have been deleted. Also, she changed her bio which simply reads, “Fashion Student”. Second, was a post of a self-portrait she drew which is shown below.

This is actually very good for Bynes. The self-portrait is a reflection of how she sees herself now: sweet and wholesome, just like how she was on Nickelodeon. Third, she would post up numerous selfies, but they were her in minimal make-up and basic clothing, doing regular, civil activities such as walking her dog.

Finally, Bynes would post a tweet in which she thanked her fans for all the love and support, probably during her hardest and most trying time as seen below.

This tweet was followed by the self-portait witch also read, “FYI This is my only twitter account, I have no secret twitter accounts. Xoxo Amanda.”

In conclusion, it is always wonderful to see a famous actor or actress rise up from a negative point in their life. Maybe we will all see the sweet, young girl with humble beginnings on a sketch comedy show, most of America has come to know and love again. Maybe we will even see Amanda back on the silver screen.
