Are Lorde And Taylor Swift Lesbians? ‘Royals’ Singer Says ‘Don’t Even Try It’

Lorde and Taylor Swift have spent quite a bit of time hanging out in recent days, leading some folks to wonder if they’re involved in a romantic relationship. However, a disc jockey learned the hard way not to push his luck with the New Zealand singer.

Since everyone wants to know what’s going on between Lorde and Swift, someone thought it was a good idea to ask the “Royals” singer about their friendship during her call-in chat with The Kyle & Jackie O Show on KIIS 1065 in Australia.

According to The Huffington Post, Kyle Sandilands decided to inquire about the amount of time Lorde is spending with Taylor Swift these days. When he tried to imply that something romantic was going down between the two, he learned very quickly that the singer wasn’t willing to play along.

When Sandilands suggested the singers were “together,” he quickly attempted to back pedal. He said, “Not together as in lesbians. I’m not talking about ‘Ellen together.’ I’m talking about, like, you guys are friendly right?”

The Daily Mail points out that Lorde wasn’t willing to let the comment go. She fired back with, “What do you mean you’re not talking about ‘Ellen together’? Is there something wrong with lesbians? Is that what you’re trying to say?”

“Oh my god, no, I would love that. Are you gonna confirm now you’re in a lesbian relationship with her?” he asked the singer.

“Don’t even try it. It’s not working,” Lorde said in response to the suggestion that she’s dating Taylor Swift. If you’ve spent a fair amount of time dreaming about that scenario, then it’s time to erase this possibility from your deranged mind.

It’s no secret that Lorde and Taylor Swift have spent quite a bit of time together over the past few weeks. The Inquisitr previously reported that the pair decided to hang out on a beach in Malibu, an excursion that was captured by a pair of opportunistic photographers.
