Fallout: New Vegas ‘Old World Blues’ DLC Releasing Next Month

Bethesda announced over on the Bethesda Blog that Fallout: New Vegas‘ third DLC pack, “Old World Blues”, is due out on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC July 19.

Before the next DLC hits, Bethesda will be releasing a title update for Fallout: New Vegas. Beyond making preparations for the DLC, the title update will bring about performance and stability improvements in the game’s “larger areas”.

In Old World Blues, players will discover the origins of some of the Mojave Wasteland’s mutated baddies as the Courier gets caught up in a twisted science experiment gone wrong. You can expect a whole bunch of shooting, collecting and, of course, chatting as you work to figure out just what the scientists are up to.

If you still haven’t had your fill of Fallout: New Vegas once Old World Blues releases, don’t worry – Bethesda still has one final DLC in the works: “Lonesome Road”. No word on just when it’s due out, but it’s expected to follow around a month after the release of Old World Blues.

Bethesda promised over on their blog that a trailer is inbound, so expect to see some footage of Old World Blues in the near future.
