Reaction To ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Trailer Has Internet Buzzing

You may not have heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy before yesterday, but following the release of the full trailer online, it’s all anyone is talking about online.

The Marvel movie, starring Chris Pratt as a human/alien hybrid called Starlord has seen nothing but positive tweets and reactions from everyone who watched the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. The trailer, first shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live February 18th, as reported by Inquisitr, hit the web the following day.

The Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, featured an array of dizzying special effects, weird creatures including Vin Diesel playing a giant tree named Groot and Bradley Cooper voicing the felonious Rocket Racoon. Dave Bautista, the hulking WWE star portrays a character called Drax while Zoë Saldana rounds out the Guardians of the Galaxy cast as the gorgeous but deadly Gamora.

Guardians of the Galaxy is based on a Marvel comic of the same name, but not one with the recognizable caché as other Marvel comic books like Captain America or Spider-Man. The trailer, in a sense, was the first introduction of these characters to a mainstream audience and was also the first movie to be headlined by Parks and Recreations star Chris Pratt, who beefed up for his role in the movie. To say there was a lot of pressure on the trailer to perform would be an understatement. But judging from the reactions on Twitter, the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer hit a home run.

Here’s what the folks on Twitter had to say about the stellar Guardians of the Galaxy trailer:

guardians of the glaxy trailer, yes? yes.
