Paige Turco Set To Join ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ As Special Agent’s Wife

Paige Turco is all set to join the cast of NCIS: New Orleans along with Scott Bakula, C.C.H. Pounder, and Zoe McLellan, in the latest NCIS spinoff.

Turco is slated to play the wife of a special agent in the show, but not yet for a full season. The network wants to see how the first two pilot episodes introducing the new characters will be received by viewers — a smart move in these days of extreme ratings wars.

The network, CBS, released the following description of the new show: “The NCIS New Orleans office handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. New Orleans, with its rich setting of music, fun and debauchery, is a magnet for military personnel on-leave. And with fun comes trouble. It is a natural backdrop for a unique character driven spin-off.”

You may be familiar with Paige Turco from her time working in various soap operas, as well as her appearances in Guiding Light and All My Children. More recently Turco appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III.

Paige Turco is also no stranger to TV shows; she played parts in American Gothic, NYPD Blue, Party of Five, and Damages among others. In her younger years Paige Turco wanted to become a classical ballerina and began studying at the Walnut Hill School.

It seems her career took a slightly different path though, and she found herself entering the world of entertainment and became a household face and name. Many people behind-the-scenes hope that the new NCIS spin-off will extend to a full season if it is received well by viewers.
