John Legend Is Allowed To Check Out Other Women, Says Wife Chrissy Teigen

John Legend’s wife doesn’t have a problem if his eyes occasionally wander to other women.

While many people might wonder why the singer would look at other ladies when he’s married to a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, apparently the guy has permission to check out the competition every now and then. Since she’s a model with millions of admirers, Chrissy Teigen apparently doesn’t have any self-esteem issues when it comes to her husband.

This very curious bit of celebrity-related info popped up during the model’s recent chat with the folks at TMZ. If John Legend wants to eyeball the backside of a woman he finds attractive, then he has his wife’s permission to take in the sights.

When asked about her husband checking out other women in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Teigen said she didn’t have a problem with it.

“I like it. We’re pretty open to that kind of thing. He likes it. We’re married now, I want him to have a good time. I’m not insecure,” the model told the website.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Chrissy Teigen was nothing short of excited after discovering she would grace the cover of the publication’s annual Swimsuit Issue. John Legend discussed her overwhelming happiness during his appearance on Good Morning America.

“She cried like a baby she was so excited. And it was a surprise because you never really know who’s going to be on the cover. She’s been in the issue for several years now and every year it’s been someone else. And then this year, it was her,” the singer explained during the recent interview.

Married life is apparently nothing but wine and roses for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. The model said earlier this year that the guy is romantic all year round, which probably makes more than a few women incredibly jealous.

The singer told Gayle King during a recent CBS This Morning interview that spending his life with Teigen is simply fantastic. Although he has permission to take a look at other women, it would appear that he only has eyes for his wife.

Legend explained:

“I’m excited. It’s been great so far… I’ve been with Chrissy for a long time, and knew that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life and wanted to have kids with her and all of that, and I really didn’t have any fear. Once I decided to do it, I decided lets go for it.”
