Beyoncé’s Trainer Reveals Secret Diet Tips

If not for her music, singer Beyoncé is just as famous for her rocking body. The “Drunk In Love” singer has showed off her curvy figure, which she always had, but is now more defined after giving birth to her child Blue Ivy. Before her self-titled album, she generally shied away from showing her body, but 2014 proved to be a year of change for the singer, and she’s baring all.

Beyoncé’s body on display has caused fans to wonder just how Bey stays on track with her weight. Well now fans of the singer no longer have to wonder as her trainer revealed all to E!.

As widely reported, back in December Beyoncé went on a vegan diet with her husband Jay Z as part of a 22 day challenge. Proud of her success Beyoncé shared some vegetarian meals with her Instagram followers.

That said, Beyoncé’s trainer had some extra tips to dish out to her fans who want to stay healthy and get a bod like the singer. Marco Borges, who’s the CEO of the 22 Days Nutrition and trainer, met the couple through Pharrell Williams about seven years ago. Since their initial meeting Marco has been working with the couple for a healthy lifestyle.

According to Marco, “She is all about health and wellness. She just wants to feel good.” Like every diet, there’s a bit of snacking involved for Bey’s sweet tooth. “The 22-Days Nutrition bars. Her favorite flavors are Peanut Chocolate-Chip Nirvana, Cherry Chocolate Bliss and Pineapple Chocolate-Chip Wonder.”

Transitioning from the 22-day challenge into a new diet plan was simple for Beyonce. According to her trainer, “The transition [from vegan] was fairly easy, because [now] she’s sticking to a mostly plant-based diet with some fish here and there.”

Although it takes a strict diet to see results, there has to be a component of cardio. For Beyonce it’s all about the lower muscles. Jay Z’s main squeeze retains her shape by doing, “body-weight squats, lunges and pliés, along with plyometric exercises and sprint intervals.”

Beyonce doesn’t diet alone. According to her trainer the power that stays together also works out together, which is a good form of support.

“They’re like every other couple, they love spending time together, they’ll work out together whenever its possible, whenever their touring schedules allow. They’ll absolutely jump in the gym together whenever they can, she’ll be running and he’ll be on a bike, or she’ll be jumping rope and he’ll be running.”
