Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal To Star In ‘Ezekiel Moss’

Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the much awaited Philip Seymour Hoffman project Ezekiel Moss which appears to be finally moving forward, with casting at least.

It had long been talked about that Hoffman would direct this film from a Black List script by Keith Bunin. Black List screenplays are unproduced movies.

Amy Adams is in high demand after taking the Golden Globe for Best Actress for her role as Sydney Prosser in American Hustle and also being nominated for an Oscar for the same role.

The 39-year-old actress is not only on everyone’s radar for the David O. Russell film, but she comes off a very busy year with two other major feature films.

In the Superman reboot Man Of Steel Amy Adams saw her dream realized when director Zack Snyder cast her as the iconic Lois Lane, to play opposite British actor Henry Cavill in the titular role.

Later on in the year, she was seen in Her alongside Joaquin Phoenix.

In Ezekiel Moss, Amy Adams will portray Iris, an emotionally fragile woman, following the loss of her husband. She runs a boarding house to get by and provide for her spirited son, Joel.

They live in a small, overly religious town and their lives are forever changed when she begins to fall in love with Ezekiel Moss (Gyllenhaal), a mysterious drifter who has the divine ability to channel and physically inhabit the spirits of the dead.

This has been the year of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile, talented American working actresses and she has once again shown a different sign of her, one which we had not seen before.

In American Hustle one couldn’t help by notice her plunging necklines and how throughout the film a lot of her body is exposed and fondled.

During her career Amy Adams hasn’t been known for being overly sexy for her roles, that all changed when she played Christian Bale’s lover.

This more glamorous and revealing Adams has been making headlines, not only on the big screen, but at many red carpet events she has attended during the year, showing off some of that cleavage and her amazing figure.

The redhead, blue eyed four-time Oscar nominee is up against a formidable group of fellow stars for the Best Actress Academy Award including, Sandra Bullock, Meryl Streep, Vera Farmiga, and Emma Thompson, however, no one is discounting her chances of taking it all.

Amy Adams will soon start production on the sequel to Man Of Steel, Batman vs. Superman (the film hasn’t been officially named yet) reprising her role as the intrepid Lois Lane.
