Austin Mahone Gets A Haircut, Twitter Can’t Stop Talking About It [Photo]
Did you know that Austin Mahone recently got a haircut? If not, then you might want to cancel your membership to the guy’s official fan club.
You know you’ve arrived in the pop world when every move you make is completely dissected by folks on Twitter. Shortly after the singer dropped an image of his new haircut on Instagram, teenagers started tweeting in large numbers about Mahone’s new look.
The “Banga Banga” singer recently tweeted that he was getting his hair cut, a post that was passionately met with opposition from his legion of hardcore fans. Since a lot of folks are madly in love with Austin Mahone’s hair, quite a few people expressed extreme displeasure with the announcement.
“Don’t you dare touch those beautiful locks!” one irate fan tweeted after hearing the news.

If the very thought of someone running their fingers through the guy’s hair wasn’t enough to make his fans jealous, then his recent conversation with Buzzfeed probably did the trick. Not only did he discuss recent comparisons to Justin Bieber, he also talked about a food fight he had with Taylor Swift.
“She’s just a super-fun, nice girl. Behind the stage she’s just super chill and likes to have fun. We had a food fight once. I threw some apples at her. We were tossing food back and forth in her dressing room and then it just turned into a food war,” he told the website.
While he doesn’t mind the Bieber comparisons, he is a little concerned that folks might think he’s just a knock-off. Mahone added, “But I want people to let me show them that I’m different. I want them to give me a chance. They’ll be like, ‘Oh, this kid’s 17, he’s got hair, he’s Justin Bieber.’ Like, what?! Just give me a chance, that’s all I ask.”
