Viral Chatroulette User Spreads Christmas Cheer [Video]
Chatroulette viral comedian Steve Kardynal has released another video to capitalize on his YouTube/Chatroulette fame. This time his choice of song to surprise Chatroulette users with is a bit more traditional than anything he’s done in the past.
Kardynal chose to sing to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which has been a staple song since Carey came out with the single in 1994 on her Merry Christmas album. Donning a Mrs. Clause outfit, and a cheap blonde wig, the “Wrecking Ball” Chatroulette comedian took to the website to spread some Christmas cheer to unsuspecting users.
Over the past year this has been a popular schtick for Steve Kardynal and his major claim to fame, even though he’s been making videos on YouTube for a few years now. The seasonal video pretty much follows the same rules as his other two Chatroulette videos. Users are either amused or disgusted by Kardynal’s outrageous lip-syncing antics as he dances around in his living room, which he decided to wrap in wrapping paper and dress up in fake snow.
Now that Kardynal has gained popularity through the internet, most of the users have joined in on the lip-syncing, and most seem to be overjoyed when they’ve been hit with his Christmas cheer. Of course there’s always a few shocked reactions that make the video even more enjoyable. The only difference between Kardynal’s Mariah Carey video is that he changes into various outfits which include an elf outfit, a pink skimpy dress, and the signature Mrs. Clause costume, complete with red striped knee highs.
Like all of his videos, the best part is his opening, which sees Kardynal popping out of a wrapped gift.
In the past, Kardynal took on popular songs of the time. Most recently, his video lip-syncing to Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” got the attention of the singer and her management. Team Cyrus was so impressed with his display of lip-syncing, and the surging of digital downloads of the “Wrecking Ball” song that his video inspired, Cyrus gifted him with champagne and a note.
