Spice Girl Emma Burton Gives Birth Just In Time For Mother’s Day

Spice Girl singer Emma Burton announced on Twitter this past Friday that she’s a proud mother for the second time.

Both Burton and her fiance Jade Jones are “over the moon” following the birth with Burton Tweeting about her new baby on Friday:

“Our beautiful son Tate has arrived safe and sound! We are all so happy and excited. Thanks and love to you all. Xx,”

Burton and Jones have a little boy together named Beau and have been dating for 11 years while announcing their engagement in January.

According to a statement released on behalf of the couple:

“He was born on May 6 2011 and weighed in at 7lbs. Both mother and baby are doing well and the family are over the moon and would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support.”

Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham are currently expecting, both sung with Burton in the Spice Girls group.
