Christina Aguilera Hits No. 1 On iTunes Following AMA Performance
Christina Aguilera is making a come back, hitting No. 1 on iTunes following her AMA performance on Sunday.
Everyone is talking about Christina Aguilera’s weight, and she does look amazing. Meanwhile, her career is also taking off, as she hit the top spot on iTunes with her single, “A Great Big World.”
A year ago The Voice coach, also known as @Xtina on Twitter, was reeling from a less-than-stellar showing of her album, Lotus.
The album only sold 73,000 copies on the first week and turned into Christina Aguilera’s worst selling album of her career. This was where things were when the 2012 AMA happened.
On top of her woes at the music stores, she had taken a break from the hit reality TV music show The Voice on its fourth season to focus on her career and her tour.
After several failed appearances featuring over-the-top vocals and less than impressive outfit choices, things had not gotten any better for the blonde bombshell.
Fast forward to this year and, starting with her outfit during the red carpet, Christina Aguilera did a complete turn around with an elegant white dress. Sexy, yes, but classy. See the photo below:

Even more importantly, she showed that she is still a relevant artist — as it should be — because Christina Aguilera is one of the most talented voices in the music industry.
During her live performance, she came out wearing an elegant black gown and her hair pulled back in a bun.

After her impressive showing at Sunday’s AMAs, her “Say Something” rose to No. 1 on iTunes immediately after the show.
She is also back on The Voice and tweeting followers about how her team is going to beat Blake, Adam, and CeeLo.

Christina Aguilera impressed without provocative outfits, kittens, twerking, or nudity and was able to shine the way her star is meant to. Love her or hate her, nobody can deny the quality and range of her voice that makes her one of the most talented American singers.
