Baby 17 On The Way For Sister Wives

Kody Brown and his sister wives (Jenelle, Meri, Christine and Robyn) are edging ever closer to an even two dozen children.

The polygamous family and stars of TLC’s polygamist show Sister Wives announced this weekend that Robyn is expecting a child. The latest wife of Kody, Robyn has children of her own from a previous marriage, however this will be the first for the couple as a pair.

Kody broke the news to PEOPLE:

“I’m overjoyed. This connects Robyn and I together in a way that nobody can take away.”

While Robyn added:

“You should have seen the look on his face when we found out,” and “It was priceless.”

When asked how the other children are taking the news, she gave an example of when she was trying to drink an iced coffee, to which the children responded:

“[They] said, ‘Oh no you don’t. You shouldn’t be drinking coffee. It was cute. They’re so protective. And I can’t even tell you how many times a day I have kids kissing my belly.”

Robyn will have a home birth, despite Kody wanting her in a hospital bed.
