J. Cole Announces More Tour Dates for 2014, Releases New Single, ‘She Knows’

If you didn’t get to see J. Cole on his “What Dreams Come From” tour the first time around, it appears that all may not be lost. The “Born Sinner” rapper has announced the second edition of his North American tour, along with the venue details for the additional dates. Earlier this week, Cole shared the announcement on his official website and Twitter feed.

The additional tour dates are comprised of North American and Canadian venues that will span into the top of 2014. However, no further details have been released as to whether Maybach Music Group rapper Wale will rejoin Cole for the second leg of the tour.

The tour extension will begin one month after Cole’s European tour ends. The dates will run through the whole month of January, stopping at notable venues in British Columbia, New York, Washington, D.C., and Connecticut. The tour will wrap up Feb. 1 at Foxwood Casinos in Mantucket, Connecticut. Radio.com reports that tickets went on sale for the additional dates on Nov. 15.

Cole is currently touring for his second studio album, “Born Sinner,” which was released in June. The album features Cole’s hit singles “Power Trip,” “Forbidden Fruit” and “Crooked Smile.”

The album also features Cole’s record, “She Knows,” which was announced earlier this week as the newest single from the “Born Sinner,” album. “She Knows,” which features Amber Coffman and The Cults, is the fourth single from the album.

The “Born Sinner” album garnered alot of notariety due to the change in its release date. The German-born rapper announced that he intentionally changed the date of his album release to compete with Kanye West’s “Yeezus” album. The album debuted in the No. 2 slot on the Billboard 200, selling approximately 297,000 units. Two weeks after the initial release date, Cole’s album was certified gold by the RIAA.
