Winona Ryder has been accused of stealing $124,000 worth of Bulgari Jewels.
Ryder “borrowed” the Bulgari jewels for a November 20 event in Madrid (picture above), then reported the diamond-encrusted bracelet and ring missing sometime after she left them in her hotel room to be picked up by staff from Marie Claire, the events sponsors, according to reports .
Ryder says she left the jewels at the hotel’s front desk for safekeeping, but this is where it gets interesting: Hotel management claims they never received the jewels and say there is no surveillance footage showing Ryder handing over the diamonds.
Winona Ryder previously served three years of probation and 480 hours of community service after a 2001 shoplifting incident.
At the time of writing there was no official comment from Ryder.
