Britney Spears is trying her best to get everyone excited about her forthcoming album Britney Jean . This apparently includes dishing on some of the songs’ lyrical content.
Since the pop singer wants as many people as humanly possible to spend their hard-earned cash on the collection of songs, she recently opened up about some of her brand new tracks. Spears recently told E! Online that her tune “Perfume” is a song that people from all walks of life can truly appreciate.
“‘Perfume’ is incredibly special to me because it hits close to home, and I think the story is relatable to everyone. Everyone’s been through an insecure moment in a relationship that’s left them vulnerable and I think this song captures that,” Britney Spears said.
Although the singer thinks that people from across the globe will find plenty of “relatable” material on Britney Jean , Spears told Hello Magazine that she’s a little anxious about how fans will receive the songs.
“It’s really nerve-racking because you spend so much time on it, and you’re like, ‘I’ve been really dedicated to this album.’ It’s like my baby coming to life. This album is very different to any I’ve ever done. It’s very moody and electric and different,” she explained.
Britney Spears added that Britney Jean is a term of endearment from her fans. Since she appreciates the expression, she wanted to “share it with everyone.”
The Inquisitr previously reported that Spears discussed the new songs in a lengthy letter addressed to her fans. After apologizing for the lack of communication, she explained what her legion of worshipers can expect from the tunes on Britney Jean .
The singer told her fans:
“I’ve learned a lot about myself, and as I am finishing, I am reminded of the incredible foundation that has supported me for the last 15 years. Thank you all for continuing to follow me on this journey and for allowing me to do what I love to do. I can’t believe this is my eighth studio album and I know I keep telling you that it is my most personal record yet, but its true and I’m really proud of that.”
The Spears tune “Perfume” should officially arrived on Facebook this week. Britney Jean , meanwhile, will debut around the world on December 3.
