Is Anyone Actually Buying The Justin Bieber Nixed Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom Marriage Story?

Justin Bieber may be en route to his next Believe tour stop in Latin America, but the teen star has been dragged into ripe speculation surrounding the ending of Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom’s three-year marriage, courtesy of a UK tabloid.

According to somewhat vague language in the Sunday People, the pop star is supposedly “one of many reasons” why the world-famous model and Brit film star announced on Friday their marriage is kaput after reportedly separating months before.

Along with pictures of Bieber standing next to a revealingly-dressed Kerr at a Victoria’s Secret show in New York City on November 7 last year — where the heartthrob and Rihanna both performed, it aired on CBS in December — it’s claimed Miranda, 30, and Justin, then 18, were seen “flirting.”

The publication added the Australian model and mother-of-one reportedly spent hours with Justin after the taping at a showbiz after-party, partying into the wee hours at a nearby hotel with other models from the catwalk show.

A source, unnamed naturally, apparently told the Sunday newspaper,

“Orlando heard that there had been some ­­flirting going on and he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it.”

Questionable quotes (mainly because they seem so ludicrous) that “Miranda had always claimed that she was a fan of Justin’s music,” and, “She has taught her son how to say ‘Bieber fever’ but it is supposed to have caused an issue,” also featured in the report.

Last November, multiple celebrity outlets reported Kerr was seen flirting with Leonardo DiCaprio at various NYC events while her husband filmed Zulu (2013) in South Africa.

Similarly timed reports claimed Bieber flirted with other models at the Victoria’s Secret show as well as Kerr, namely Cara Delevingne and Barbara Palvin. At the time, the pop star and then girlfriend Selena Gomez were on a break with E! News reporting their split on November 9.

Amid Justin and Selena’s breakup (they later reunited briefly in December before splitting again in January), cheating rumors surfaced alleging Bieber and Palvin got close at the fashion event. This claim was denied by sources close to the singer and Palvin herself.

For their part, Kerr and Bloom appear to be doing their best to deal with their marriage breakdown with dignity.

Despite neither wearing their wedding rings, the ex-couple were spotted smiling as they took their two-year-old son Flynn for a stroll in New York’s Central Park on Sunday, reportedly after a family lunch.

Bloom is currently starring in a production of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway in which he stars with Condola Rashad, 26. He will also be seen in theaters reprising his “Elf” role in The Hobbit sequels.

Kerr was recently announced as the new face of Austrian crystal jewellery brand, Swarovski, who regularly provide the jewelry for Victoria’s Secret’s extravagant, lingerie shows.

The reasons why this once golden couple’s marriage has crashed and burned may never become public, but it does seem unlikely that Kerr’s supposed musical tastes and friendly encounter with a teenager 11 years her junior — almost a year ago — could torpedo a solid relationship.
