Orlando Bloom And Miranda Kerr Split, Three Year Marriage Has Been Over For Months

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have split up, with a spokesperson confirming that their three year marriage ended “amicably” months ago.

Bloom and Kerr have been together for around six years. They started to date in 2007 before ultimately exchanging vows in 2010.

This was followed by the birth of their first and only child, Flynn, in January 2011.

The couple’s shock announcement was even more stupefying as they have been pictured together recently on numerous occasions.

Miranda attended the final Broadway performance of Bloom’s Romeo and Juliet on September 19, which had seen the 36-year-old act alongside Condola Rashad in the titular roles.

Kerr even heaped praise on Bloom’s showing in Romeo and Juliet in the November edition of Cosmopolitan, stating that she was “blown away” by it.

She went on to add:

“For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week, I have so much respect for him.

We don’t run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk.

The couple’s spokesperson confirmed their split in a statement:

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.

Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.

The pair haven’t released any further information regarding their split, and it isn’t clear what lead to this decision.

Rumours began to circulate in January that the pair’s relationship was on the brink of collapse, but Kerr took to the Today show to qualm such talk.

She cited that their marriage was “wonderful” before asserting that Bloom was a “wonderful partner” and an “amazing father,” and she concluded by stating that they were “really lucky” to have found one another.

However, she did admit that their schedules were beginning to drag them apart and that the duo had to “do the best” that they could with their work loads.

This came after she was spotted partying with Leonardo DiCaprio in New York throughout November and December without Bloom. The rumors that the pair’s friendship was closer than it should have been lead a source to dismiss these claims, stating that Leo and Miranda were just close pals.
