January Jones In Bikini Suggests She's Unemployed

January Jones made for quite the headline-maker as she joked she sought "attention" as an actor "out of work" back in 2020. The 44-year-old Hollywood favorite was technically drying up on the work front as the TV series Spinning Out was canceled, but her post came tongue-in-cheek.

The Instagram share brought the blonde bikini-clad from her L.A. home pool. she was causing a "desperate" bikini storm among fans. Check it out below.

'Out Of Work' In Bikini

Scroll for the photo. It showed the Mad Men star going retro as she posed booty-deep in a pool and showed her glamorous property. Partly shaded, the mom of one posed in a striped and orange-and-gray two-piece with shorts-like bottoms and a crop top upper worn off the shoulder.

The '70s bikini showed off the star's toned backside and shoulders, with a massive straw hat and shades shielding her from beating rays up above. January sent the camera a gigantic grin, also slightly waving. "Series: "Out of work actor needs attention," the caption read.

Not long after, and continuing the Hot Girl Summer theme, Jones posed for a leggy backyard snap as she flaunted her famous pins. Here, she referenced son Xander - whose paternity remains unknown.

"I'm smiling for this pic but I must say that I have been waking up feeling down again, uncertain and idle, trying to occupy my mind, my kiddo and keep a positive attitude but not having an easy go as I'm sure most can relate to. I hope we can all come out on the other side soon, more informed and with more empathy and love for each other. Be safe," she wrote, sending pandemic good wishes.

'Desperate' Bikini Storm

Jokes are still made on January's Instagram as fans back her amid her 2020 bikini storm. Shortly after the "out of work," Jones shared a post suggesting The National Enquirer was threatening to publish a piece dubbing her bikini posts "desperate."

"To Whom It May Concern: The National Enquirer is preparing to publish a story which reports January Jones has worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts. Sources claim her content smacks of a 'desperate cry for attention' and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before then pandemic took hold," the alleged letter read.

Fans Got Her Back

Swim posts have since seen fans writing "Not desperate" as they support January, who did fire back with sarcasm.
