Jurassic Park Cast: Ty Simpkins Gets Ticket To Jurassic World

Ty Simpkins just been given a ticket to Jurassic World.

The 12-year-old actor, who you might remember from Iron man 3, has landed a lead role in the new Jurassic Park movie.

Simpkins may only be 12-years-old but he has a pretty impressive acting resume. He made his motion picture debut at the ripe old age of 3 in Steven Spielberg’s War Of The Worlds. Since then, he’s appeared on TV shows like CSI and Private Practice.

In 2010, he landed the leading role in the movie Insidious and a supportive role opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 3.

To sum up: Simpkins worked with Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr., Steven Spielberg, Russel Crowe, Sam Mendes before his 13th birthday. The rest of the Jurassic World cast hasn’t been announced yet but Deadline reports that director Colin Trevorrow is close to signing Bryce Dallas Howard.

There are also still rumors that some of the original cast will return for the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park series. Of course, the story line for the new movie isn’t known yet and it’s unclear if the reboot will feature Dr. Alan Grant or his colleagues. The only major hint we have about the new movie is in the film’s title Jurassic World.

Many dino-film fans are speculating that the title either suggests that dinosaurs have escaped the parks and are now roaming around the globe. OR, the new movie may feature the opening of brand new Disneyworld type amusement park.
