Roseanne Barr Claims Ashton Kutcher, Chuck Lorre Steal Jokes

Roseanne Barr firmly believes that Ashton Kutcher and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre are a pair of low-down joke-stealing thieves.

It’s no secret that Barr doesn’t care for Lorre. Their feud reportedly dates back to his days as a scribe on her hit sitcom Roseanne. Since the comedienne isn’t one to let an old feud die — just ask Tom Arnold — she recently lashed out at the producer on Twitter.

Things kicked off with a warning from Roseanne Barr to young up-and-coming comics. According to her, Chuck Lorre might be stealing their material. Barr also claims that Lorre steals her jokes all the time.

After suggesting that the producer mine material from dead comedians, she took a few shots at TV writers. In her humble opinion, they’re all thieves and liars.

“I need to do like Chuck Lorre’s writers do — watch some stand up and steal some jokes for my new scripts. I could produce ten shows, maybe!” she tweeted on Friday.

According to The Wrap, Roseanne Barr slammed everyone from Chucke Lorre to Ashton Kutcher to the scores of individuals who write for TV shows. Her tirade reportedly ran for a whopping 10 hours.

“A**hole Kuchner [sic] is stealing my ‘wet where i’m supposed to be dry’ joke,” she posted in response to Thursday’s episode of Two and a Half Men.

Although Roseanne Barr was incredibly angry for a while, she seemed to calm down as the tirade worn on. Towards the very end, she even reversed her decision about Chucke Lorre and took issue with his writing staff. Check out some of her tweets below.

Finally, all is well.
