Sylvester Stallone Regrets Feuding With Bruce Willis

Sylvester Stallone had a serious issue with Bruce Willis earlier this year. However, the Escape Plan star said he regrets slamming the actor on Twitter.

Fans of the Expendables series were definitely a little shocked when actor Harrison Ford signed on for the upcoming sequel. Folks were even more shocked to discover that Ford has essentially replaced Willis on the flick. According to reports, Willis wanted too much money to appearance in the follow-up.

Although he definitely had a beef with the Die Hard star, Sylvester Stallone recently told Empire that he regrets calling his pal “greedy and lazy” on the micro-blogging site.

“This is just a matter of economics. Bruce has been a lifelong friend. I still consider him a friend, at least on my side. This is something that came out of frustration. Perhaps I shouldn’t have been so vocal with it,” the action hero explained.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Bruce Willis wanted a whopping $1 million per day for his performance in The Expendables 3. Since Stallone wasn’t willing to pay, he kicked his friend to the curb and hired Indiana Jones instead.

The beef between Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis could have something to do with the Hudson Hawk star’s desire to move away from action movies. If he’s going to spend his time running away from explosions, then he definitely wants compensation for his time and effort.

During a recent interview, Willis said he has grown tired of the action genre in recent years. However, this hasn’t stopped him from signing on for a few more.

“When you’ve seen a few fireballs, it’s not exciting any more. I know part of my audience enjoys the explosions, but to be honest, I’m a bit bored of it now,” he told the Mirror in August.
