Cassidy Wolf Sextortion Arrest Made, Miss Teen USA Has ‘Mixed Feelings’

The “sextortion” involving Cassidy Wolf (or Miss Teen USA) has resulted in the arrest of a former classmate — and the beauty queen victim admits the whole ordeal has caused her a lot of confusion and stress.

The leaked pics of Cassidy Wolf naked were ones for which the beauty pageant star didn’t deliberately pose, it appears, and investigators have arrested 19-year-old Jared James Abrahams.

Abrahams was a former classmate of Wolf, and to hear Wolf say how she believes the pics were snapped is quite unsettling. On Today this morning, the pageant queen recalls that her “computer light never came on,” referring to the light that typically signals an active webcam.

Cassidy was hence unaware that the cam had been activated, she says, and freely dressed while her private space was unwittingly streaming live to others.

Scarily, she alleges:

“This person had been taking pictures of me in my room, changing clothes from putting on outfits, walking back and forth from the shower… I received an anonymous email from an anonymous person [who] basically was extorting me and blackmailing me. I saw that he had attached nude photos of me that he had taken in my bedroom.”

Wolf adds that this “happened to [her] when [she] was a normal girl in high school and it can happen to anybody.”

Of Abrahams’ arrest Thursday, Wolf admits:

“It’s weird for me to be able to put a face to the person who did this to me, and to know that it was somebody I went to high school with,” she said. “That’s just weird. It’s mixed emotions, honestly… I just think it’s sad that he chose to do this and has now kind of put himself in this big dilemma.”

Cassidy Wolf says she never interacted with the 19-year-old man during her time at school with him.
