‘The Avengers 2’ Comic-Con Teaser Leaked Online [Video]

If you missed the Avengers 2 teaser trailer at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con, then you’re very much in luck. The Age of Ultron clip was recently leaked online.

Since Joss Whedon’s sequel has yet to go before the cameras, there isn’t a shred of actual footage in the video you see embedded below. However, it’s still pretty cool in its own right. The quality isn’t the sharpest you’re likely to find online, but it gets the job done.

As with all of these leaked videos, it’s best to enjoy it as soon as humanly possible. Since studio executives probably doesn’t want an unauthorized Avengers 2 clip making the rounds online, Marvel and Walt Disney Pictures will most likely yank the footage very soon.

What should fans expect from the upcoming sequel? According to Whedon, Age of Ultron will be darker than his 2012 superhero epic The Avengers. Fans of the comic book should also prepare for a few changes to the villain’s origin.

“A lot of people, because we called it Age of Ultron, and there was a book Age of Ultron just recently, assumed that was the storyline we’re doing, which is not the case. We’re doing our own version of the origin story of Ultron,” the filmmaker explained during a recent interview.

He continued, “We’re sort of crafting our own version of it where his origin comes more directly from the Avengers we already know about.”

The Inquisitr previously reported that James Spader will portray Ultron in The Avengers 2. A final cast list hasn’t hit the internet as of this writing.
