‘Star Wars: Episode VII’: Saoirse Ronan In Talks For The Sequel [Rumor]
Do you need another Star Wars: Episode VII rumor to get you through the rest of the week? According to reports, actress Saoirse Ronan is in talks for a role in the upcoming sequel.
The Hanna star is reportedly in the running for a female villain role in director J.J. Abrams’ highly-anticipated follow-up. However, the actress hasn’t confirmed or denied these rumors as of this writing.
According to Latino Review, Saoirse Ronan isn’t the only actress who read for the role in Star Wars: Episode VII. Although the folks at the website didn’t mention the second individual by name, they seem certain that another actress is in the running for the same part.
“I also know who else went in for the female villain role but not allowed to say who it is just yet,” the site tweeted.
Although Saoirse Ronan is reportedly in the running for a role in the sequel, many people are more concerned about Benedict Cumberbatch’s role in the film. Despite the Sherlock star’s recent denial, the website claims the actor will play a part in at least three new Star Wars flicks.

Don’t believe the hype about Benedict Cumberbatch not being in ‘Star Wars.’ Hie is in the movie! In fact, he will be in all three ‘Star Wars’ films! It’s all a smoke screen. Folks, remember when Cumberbatch denied being Khan for over a year? Same situation here. At least give us the benefit of the doubt hence why we are bringing this up.
The Star Trek Into Darkness star recently denied rumors that he would star in Episode VII. However, he also said he wasn’t playing Khan.
“This is the simple truth. J.J. [Abrams] and I have worked together before. I would love to work with him again. No offer has been made. That is that. And that is that,” Cumberbatch explained.
