Nicole Kidman Knocked Down By Bike Riding Photographer

Nicole Kidman was knocked down by a photographer while he was riding his bike on a New York City sidewalk on Thursday night.

The 46-year-old actress is believed to be pressing charges against freelance paparazzi Carl Wu.

Kidman was returning to the Carlyle Hotel from the Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week when the possibly accidental assault occurred.

A witness tells Us Weekly that Kidman “looked hurt,” but she didn’t appear to be bleeding. The witness says Kidman “put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle.”

Officers told Kidman they would issue a ticket for Wu but would not arrest him for a criminal offense. The witness says Wu attempted to slam on his bike’s brakes but failed to stop in time.

Nicole Kidman grabbed at her leg before she fled into the hotel. A short time later, an ambulance arrived at the Carlyle Hotel and paramedics conducted a quick examination of the A-List star.

Kidman has been busy lately. The star was spotted at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting her film The Railway Man, which co-stars Colin Firth. Kidman has also been working on the recently wrapped Anchorman: The Legend Continues and Before I Go To Sleep. Currently in pre-production for Kidman is Queen of the Desert.
