Carrie Underwood Falls On Stage [Video]
Carrie Underwood took an embarrassing fall on stage at a concert in Corpus Christ, Texas on Thursday night.
The singer, who was wearing some pretty tall stilettos, was dancing in front of her crowd when she accidentally stepped on the back of her dress. The former American Idol star tumbled backward and thanks to the power of social media, you can watch the incident below.
Yahoo News reports that Underwood continue to perform for the crowd despite the fact that she suffered a minor injury.
Underwood even poked fun of herself on Twitter.
The singer writes: “Hey, remember that time in Corpus Christi when that girl busted her butt on stage?! Hilarious! Oh wait, that was me! #5inchheels #klutz.”
Underwood sought medical attention after the show and ended up putting her foot in a cast. But don’t worry, the singer assured her fans that her ankle isn’t broken.
The singer wrote on Twitter: “Good news, it’s not broken…AND I got some new footwear!”
Underwood has a pretty good sense of humor about the incident and apparently so do her fans. Videos and pics of Underwood have been circulating around the internet all day.
