GameStop Managers Will Receive PS4 With 7 Games, And An Xbox One

GameStop managers will receive a Sony PlayStation 4 with seven games at launch.

The retailer made the announcement at GameStop EXPO, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.

According to Joystiq, the games that will be included with the console are: Killzone: Shadowfall, NBA 2K14, Madden, FIFA 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Beyond: Two Souls. A GameStop spokesperson clarified that Beyond is for the PS3, and all of the other games are for the PS4.

“Some are physical and some are digital vouchers,” the spokesperson said.

Managers will also receive an Xbox One, although there is no word yet on whether the console will also include games.

GameStop is giving the consoles to all of the general managers at its 6,500 stores, not just the ones who attended the EXPO.

There is also a rumor circulating that Microsoft employees will receive a white Xbox One from the company.

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 will be released on November 15, and will launch with 33 titles. Microsoft has yet to officially announce a date for the Xbox One, although a recent report suggests that the console will launch a week before its competitor on November 8. Microsoft has confirmed 23 launch titles for the next-gen system. The company also announced Tuesday that pre-order bonuses will come with the console’s exclusive launch games.

The Xbox One exclusive titles include Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Forza Motorsport 5.

Last week, Sony announced three pre-order bonuses for Driveclub. The exclusive packs depend on where the game is purchased. Each pack includes an exclusive livery design, a fame boost to increase driver level and give the player a head start over the competition, and instant access to a powerful super car. Sony also announced that customers who buy either a physical or digital copy of Driveclub will receive a free three-month trial of PlayStation Plus.
